Hand poured, small batch, a little bit spooky
Ghost Artz Studio started the way most good things do — as a hobby that got out of hand.
It began with art. Drawing, designing, making things for people: personalized stickers, pet portraits, custom pieces that turned somebody’s dog or grandpa or favorite memory into something they could hold. That is where the “Artz” comes from, and it is still part of what we do.
The wax came later. What started as pouring a few bars for family turned into testing fragrance after fragrance, tweaking the wax blend, and chasing that specific thing a scent does when you walk into a room — the way Bonfire Nights puts you at the fire pit in October, or Papaw’s Study puts you somewhere you did not expect to go.
Now there are 49 scents, and every one of them was poured, cured, wrapped, and labeled by hand in Pinehurst, Texas.
What goes into a bar
- A para-soy wax blend, chosen because it holds fragrance better and throws stronger than straight soy
- Phthalate-free fragrance oils — always
- Heavy fragrance loads, because a melt that does not fill the room is a waste of your money
- Five break-apart cubes per bar, so one bar is five uses, not one
- Poured in small batches — no machines, no factory, no 10,000-unit runs
Because it is made by hand, no two bars look exactly alike. The swirls land differently, the color sits differently. We think that is the point.
Why we do bundles
A single bar is $3.50, which is not a lot of money — but scent is personal, and picking one scent out of 49 is genuinely hard. So we built the Build Your Own bundles: pick 4 bars for $13, 6 for $18, or 12 for $34. Mix the safe pick with the weird one. Try the tobacco and the strawberry poundcake in the same box. Find your thing.
The rest of the studio
Alongside the melts we still take on custom commissions, personalized pet stickers and buttons, and personalized stickers for whatever you are into. If you have an idea, send it — we like the strange requests.
A real person reads your email
We are small. There is no support team, no chatbot, no warehouse. If something arrives broken or wrong, email us and we will fix it. If you want a scent recommendation, ask — we will actually answer.
